Berg & Schmid GmbH

This name stands for an owner-managed

company with its headquarters in

Remseck, Baden-Württemberg. Founded

in the early days of the economic mirac-

le, Berg & Schmid has been managed by

several generations of the Schmid family.

In the year 2007, Stefan Schmid handed

over the company and its manage-

ment to Hans-Peter Sebald from Sebald

Schleifscheiben [www.sebald-schleif-

scheiben.de], a known expert in the

field of cutting technique. Our products

are used worldwide and are mainly

distributed in Germany as well

as Switzerland, Austria and the

Czech Republic.

have been working with metal sawing

machines for over 50 years. The satisfac-

tion of our customers and their require-

ments have challenged our innovations

requirements of the respective techno-

Our product range is divided

into three areas:

The "Eco-Line Range", "Master-Line

Range" and "Industry Range":

• The Eco-Line Range is essential

for all workmen who have to use

machines flexibly and well-priced

directly at the building and

construction site.

• TheMaster-Line Range offers metal

saws equipped and produced in high

quality for handicraft and business

enterprises and for service stations

in industrial enterprises. Our saws

can be used for both solids and profile

bar due to their design and the

high-quality components. You do not

have to accept reductions in cross-

section.

• TheIndustry Range (our main range)

offers industrial high-performance

sawing machines which are built for

multi shift operation due to their

design. In addition, these machines

are designed in such a way that even

for highest cutting performances,

a minimum of wear parts is used

which reduces your cutting costs.

In general, when selecting and manuf-

acturing the sawing machines, we pay

special attention to the highest perfor-

mance in the areas of saw band ten-

sion, precision for cutting quality and

the feed rate of the material transport,

to the reproducibility of the previously

mentioned characteristics, to quiet run-

ning, the service live of a tool, ease of

use, ergonomics and safety.

We offer you a technical and com-

mercial solution customised to your

requirements. For this reason, we are

supporting you with an extensive ran-

ge, with planning, construction, project

planning, implementation and first-

hand service in the technical field and

offer everything from renting, leasing

and buying in the commercial field.

of the environment does not stop there,

we also use recycling paper, pencils and

textile bags and provide you with spare

parts for our machines for a remarkably

long time period.
